I Must Confess…My Most Hated Household Chores

- I Must Confess is a link up that will be happening every Monday and will remain live for the whole week.

- You can link up something old or new, we’re not fussy around here.

- Feel free to go with the prompt for the week or add your own confession, whatever suits.

- Please go forth and share the comment love – it is bloggy crack after all!

Like Kristy, my first though was all of them & still is.

From sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, to scrubbing the bathroom & toilet, it jut gets to repetitive. I mean with a pair of almost 4yrs, I could continually clean the house 24/7.

I don't bother making beds, unless I'm expecting visitors. For me, because I heard once that bed bugs don't like to be aired out IYKWIM & for the kids, because they pull apart their beds & play with the sheets, pillows, etc.

As I said, I feel like I'm continually sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, whether it be from spilt food or drink, crumbs/dirt/sand on the carpet, or pee (the new one) when they think peeing anywhere but in the bowl is funny.

I found a quick cheat for the toilet. Ivory Monarch (*wink*) has a power gel, that you squeeze on, leave, then flush. Sure you still have to scrub under the seat, but anything that gets rid of the uglys is great.

Ironing is another thing that only gets done if it really needs to.

Look, I've tried Flylady & other housework organisational thing, but I suppose the truth is & I Must Confess… I'm just lazy.

I really hate that it all needs doing again almost as soon as you've finished it! I'd far rather mow the lawn than vacuum, at least that stays neat a little bit longer (thought not with all the rain we've been having ...)
Some days I think if I just leave the mess long enough it will put itself away. We've been stuck inside since Australia Day long weekend pretty much thanks to the constant rain - you know it's bad when your three year old tells you they don't want to jump in any more puddles - and as a result the house looks like one of the water spouts they keep warning us about has ripped through it.

I cracked it today and threw all the toys and books in the lounge room out the back door!! My nearly 4 year old ignored me all day and would not pick them up!! Felt good to chuck a massive tanty!!
I'm often in a state of paralysis when it comes to cleaning the house as it seems so pointless when you are going to have to do it all over again - I never know where to start and lack te motivation to get going. So pleased that I am not the only one who feels that way! Thanks so much for linking up again this week!
I wish I was in charge of outside stuff - so much easier to look after :)
I have to pull the beds up in the morning, I like to get into a made bed. Trouble is hubby usually gets into bed before me and I don't know what the hell he does but it ends up all arse about. Shits me. I'm not an ironer either, my housework gets done mostly at night when everyone is in bed.
Just between you and me, I think I am a bit lazy as well. And what is the point of doing all these chores when they are only going to need doing again?
My recent post I must confess I failed miserably
