I Must Confess…My First Blog Post

My First Blog Post appeared on my old IF blog (When's it gonna be my turn???), back in April 2006 (Wow! Nearly 7yrs ago). It was a post about a video I put together, containing my wedding photos set to music.

Unfortunately the video was published on the Zippy Videos website (which now doesn't exist), so I can't show you the video & I have closed my old IF blog, so a C&P will have to do.

TUESDAY, APRIL 11, 2006

I was bored.

Hi There. While I was bored one day, I took my wedding photos & put together a home made wedding video. It's my first go & this technical stuff. Hope you like it.

It was pretty basic, but who's first post wasn't? Now it's your turn.

My first post was short and sweet too...well, maybe not sweet. Sounds like the wedding video was great though - and a labour of love.

Yep mine was pretty boring too - actually when I look back it was kind of aggressive and since then I have calmed down a lot, thank goodness. I love watching wedding videos, even mine occasionally x Emily

I don't think it was aggressive, but more like straight to the point. I prefer that, rather than people sugar coating things IYKWIM.

I'm about to close down my first blog (Footprints, started in Jan 2008) but first I want to copy all my posts to a document so I can remember my own brilliance! ;-)

I just changed the settings on my old blog to private. That way, I can still read it every now & again.

I think I still have it on my old laptop, but the only time I even think about it now, is when I hear "Amazed" by Lonestar (the song I used).

It is sad the video is no longer available. Great idea about changing the settings to private, that is how I started my blog before I had the nerve to make it public.
