Work & Childcare
Well I've gone back to work after 2yrs maternity leave, which means the boys now have to go into Childcare. Ok, they don't really have to, but I think it's time for them to start socialising with other kids. Just to see the looks on their faces when we go out to a playcentre or equivalent. It's like there is so much more for them to explore.
I'm only working 2 days per week, 5hrs per days, but after this week, it's definitely enough. Financially we are worse off, but I need time out. Time away from the boys (don't get me wrong. I loved them to death & would never give them back after going through so much to get them, but I need some space), time away from the house & time away from DH.
After my first day back, I crashed at 8:30pm & didn't wake up until the boys stirred at 6:30am.
After the boys first 2 days at CC, I think A has caught something. He threw up before we went to the footy last night, then again on the way there, then finally topped it off, by vomiting all over me (*Reminded, take a change of clothes for myself to keep in the car, just in case). As R is the one who normally vomits, it's very out of character for A. A even fell asleep in the car on the way home & was drifting in & out as I changed his nappy & put his PJs on when we got home. If his still is not himself by Monday, I'll take him to the GP.
