What was that? That noise.

It sounded like something broke. A window, a toy, a camel's back.

And a straw (or in my case 2 little bottoms, no nappies, a pile of poo & a carpet with stains. Funny I suppose).

They say it's always a minor crack, that causes the a tower to eventually fall.

Footy Frenzy Friday #16

I haven't done this for a while for a few reasons. We haven't been to the Footy (because of illness & other issues) & I wasn't sure if it was worth posting.

I've also been thinking about changing the name to Fanatics Friday, so it can be for general sports & not just footy.

I've been enjoying the Tour De France (although I'm not a lover of cycling), so if it was about all sports, I could have commented about that.

More working hours

I've been back at work since Feb, working 2 days/10hrs per week. It suits because I get time away from the boys & they get to experience daycare (which has been fantastic for their development). 10hrs was also good, because although I lost a little money from the government benefit that I was receiving, it was a little extra cash even though with the boys in LDC, I was out of pocket.

Why do you read/blog?

When I first started blogging, it was to keep track of my thoughts & feelings of infertility. To document (for myself) my journey to motherhood. I spoke about my feelings & emotions, made new friends & supported others.

In that time, I went public, private, public, private, public... for all different reasons. I changed homes (blogs) & although I have deleted, merged & moved blogs, apart from here, I still keep my original blog (When's it gonna be my turn???) blog, which I now use as a place to combine all the blog posts I have made.

Tiny Talk Tuesday #1

I came across Tiny Talk Tuesday a while ago (around the same time I found Tot School). At the time, R & A weren't verbal, so I thought it would be something that I could do eventually & now is that time.

I suppose compared to others there age, they aren't really talking as such. Daycare has definitely helped with that & they are saying at least 1 new word per week, if not more.

Help - The Beatles

This week's Then Sings My Soul Saturday, is thanks to the an episode of Spicks & Specks.

While watching a nightly re-run, S&S had Steve Weltman (a music producer and manager who started his career making tea for the Beatles) as a guest. When asked 'who his favourite Beatle was", he said 'John, without any doubt". He then went on to say that 'John was the humour, the sarcasm, the cutting edge, the politics & Paul made everything pop sensible'.

Well with both boys ill & money tight, I didn't really do anything for me this week. :( But...

I just received an email from the real estate that handles my investment properties & as part of 'their building relationships with local businesses' push, they are including on offer voucher for a local business each month.

This month is a 30% off voucher for our local Day Spa.

Miracle Pregnancies after IVF

We know they happen, but how miraculous are they? IMO, no very.

Most people who fall pregnant after IVF (whether they have conceived through IVF or not), are those who were diagnosed with Unexplained Infertility. Those who (when push comes to shove), had no reason for not falling pregnant in the first place & who more than likely, would have fallen pregnant naturally in the end anyway.
